Project Scout Tax Assistance

Project SCOUT (Senior Citizen OUTreach), is a program of the Seniors Council of Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties, providing free tax assistance to the elderly, disabled and low-income populations. Genealogical Society of Santa Cruz County:
How to Solve Surname Problems

Special guest speaker, Cynthia Stanford, will explore some of the problems in finding our particular ancestors for various surnames in databases and indexes, and other records, offering some ideas on how to deal with these genealogical research challenges. By understanding why we can't find the ancestors we are looking for, we will have a better chance of actually finding them. All are welcome.

Mind Body Wellness Workshop

This workshop, which is designed for adults consists of gentle yoga, breathing techniques, guided meditation and a talk on the science behind our breath and how it can be used as a great tool to handle our mind, to eliminate stress, to increase our energy and to enhance clarity of mind. Facilitated by the Art of Living Foundation.
