NoveList

NoveList provides subject searching, reviews, and annotated book lists for over 135,000 fiction titles. Salem Health

Provides online access to Magill's Medical Guide, which "covers diseases, disorders, treatments, procedures, specialties, anatomy, biology, and issues." It includes symptoms and warning signs, a glossary, and descriptions of medical specialities.

To log in from home, scroll to the bottom of the Welcome screen and select the remote access button. Follow the directions to register. Once your account is established, use the same remote access button to log in. The remote access password is the first 5 digits of your library card number.

This provides a collection of research materials for tracing family history and American culture. With over 25,000 books, the entire U.S. Federal Census, and other expanding collections this is a good place to start or continue researching family history. HeritageQuest includes the Genealogy & Local History Collection of 25,000 searchable family and local history books. Every page of each book is presented and can be easily downloaded or copied. The entire census, 1790-1930, with page images and corresponding indexes is also included in HeritageQuest Online . The indexes provide the ability to search by name, place of birth, age, ethnicity and other variables making this the most versatile census searching available online.

National Newspaper Index

Citations only.
