Rules of Conduct
Everyone is welcome in the library on library business. This includes reading, doing research, asking questions, using the Internet, checking materials in and out and attending library programs and meetings.
In order to provide an atmosphere conducive to a welcoming and stress-free environment where the rights of Library Customers and Staff are protected, the following Rules of Conduct will apply.
Rules of Conduct
Consuming food in the library is not permitted.
Conversations must be at a sound level and length that does not disturb others.
Sleeping is not allowed in the library.
Young children must be supervised while they are in the library.
Engaging in loud, disruptive or unsafe activity or behavior in the library is not acceptable. This behavior includes, but is not limited to:
Use of cell phones
Making verbal or physical threats
Having body odor constituting a nuisance to others
