Rules of Conduct
Everyone is welcome in the library on library business. This includes reading, doing research, asking questions, using the Internet, checking materials in and out and attending library programs and meetings.
In order to provide an atmosphere conducive to a welcoming and stress-free environment where the rights of Library Customers and Staff are protected, the following Rules of Conduct will apply.
Rules of Conduct
Consuming food or drink (other than bottled water) is not permitted.
Turn off cell phones or turn them to vibrate.
Keep conversations (including cell phone calls) at a sound level and length that does not disturb others.
Sleeping is not allowed.
Do not lie or sit on the floor.
Young children must be supervised.
Engaging in loud, disruptive or unsafe activities or behavior is not acceptable. This behavior includes, but is not limited to:
Engaging in any illegal activity
Making verbal or physical threats
Having body odor constituting a nuisance to others
